LA Burger Blurb (January 2013)

The L.A. burger blurbs for January:

- Hole in the Wall Burger: After a tumultuous final few months at their former location in West LA, the highly acclaimed burger joint has, as of last week, officially and successfully re-opened in their new Santa Monica digs. The new space is bigger and much more inviting - and also includes free garage parking. The menu has expanded to include milkshakes, desserts and more specials, but don't forget they still serve the city's best turkey burger. 2200 Colorado Avenue, Unit C, Santa Monica (website).

- Burger Lounge: The Beverly Hills and West Hollywood spot is offering a pretty kick ass Super Bowl contest. The winner gets the Burger Lounge's Mobile Kitchen parked on his or her front lawn on Super Bowl Sunday to provide burgers and sides for up to 100 guests. Enter ASAP as the contest ends midnight, January 23. Burger Lounge also recently rolled out a new entry in their wild game series, The  Smokey Wild Boar Burger (pictured atop the post). The 6-oz grass-fed wild boar burger, available only January and February, comes topped with smoked cheddar, hand cut crunchy onion rings and housemade BBQ sauce. 8539 W. Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood & 281 S. Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills (website).

- Stout Burgers and Beers: The Santa Monica outpost of the wildly popular Stout Burger, originally aiming for a late 2012 opening, is now slated for mid-to-late February. Like the Studio City and Hollywood locations, the 111 Santa Monica Blvd. ocean-adjacent Stout will feature the mini-chain's signature burgers and sides and extensive beer menu. Also opening in the near future: a Pasadena location. Current locations: 1544 N. Cahuenga Blvd, Hollywood & 11262 Ventura Blvd, Studio City (website).

  1. I just remembered the burger junction we have right across our apartment, they serve mini cheeseburgers there. It's charming and it tastes really good. I like our place since there are a lot of food places there.

  2. Wow, I wish we had this guy's burger joint near our place. That would be a great thing have, on top of a nice, cozy home to go to at the end of the busy work day.
