Sweet. There's A Whole LA Convention for Cookies.

Are you a kid at heart? Or... are you an adult, who likes desserts, so your peers annoyingly always say, "He's young at heart?" If either applies, or, I don't know, you just like cookies and stuff, the first annual LA Cookie Con & Sweets Show should pique your interest. Taking over the Pasadena Convention Center on January 25th from 10 am until 5 pm, LACC is exactly as it sounds: a whole friggin' hall packed to the gills with sweet teethings! Samples, classes, demonstrations, baking contests and more. Cookies, brownies, pastries, macarons! Oh my.

Amongst a plethora of sweets-related vendors, some U.E. favorites will be in attendance, including: Copenhagen Pastry (Culver City/Pasadena), DK's Donuts (Santa Monica) and Baker Cakemaker (East Hollywood). I plan to eat everything they offer me. You should too.

Buy tickets here. For programming schedule updates, RSVP on the event's Facebook page.

  1. I still can't get over this great place I recently visited! This isn't only a good place. It is also one of the best around here. There isn't a listing of the unique offerings, although there should be! This convention center was magnificent!

  2. Despite attempts of authentic purse dealers to ensure that their product is not copied by placing such things as emblems or serial numbers on their products, this has not stopped purse replicas from being created on a quantum scale, especially the last 10 years.

Most of us have seen a genuine Coach purse and have marveled at its beauty and finesse. However, many of us have seen more duplicates and replicas of such handbags and purses as a many of us cannot afford to buy the authentic ones.

They actually pattern their designs off designer or branded shoes and sometimes they are labeled with the brands and made to look original. The only thing that warns the buyer that they are China made is the price. They are a quarter of the price, they are dirt cheap. People buy them of course, they get tempted.
