LA Pizza Society Shindig #5 Will Take Place At...

It's come time again to announce the location of our upcoming LA Pizza Society chowdown fest, aka adult pizza party, aka awesome times. I'm excited to reveal the humble adobe of our fifth rendezvous as...

Yes, Apollonia's! The Miracle Mile neighborhood joint, home to thin-crust, speciality, New York-ish delicious pizza pies, welcomes LAPS denizens to eat your fucking face off. Apollonia's offers some of LA's most intriguing pies, like the Il Justino atop this post (shredded mozzarella, fresh mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, garlic, olive oil, oregano, organic basil, sopressa, splashes of spicy Arrabiata sauce), as well as bold combos like these... 

That's their Pico Pesto (pesto, ground up bacon, red onion) and Acapulco Gold (Ricotta, Pecorino Romano, organic yellow grape tomatoes, organic arugula and truffle oil), respectively. These pizzas, along with almost the entire menu will be on offer for LAPS Shindig #5. 

The September 26th event will go from 2-4 pm at Apollonia's. Tickets will be $20, which covers unlimited pizza, one soft drink** and a pizza-making tutorial from the pizzaiolo. Tickets* will go on sale Thursday at noon on Eventbrite, but will be available to mailing listers earlier in the morning (so get on the list!) Check back here Thursday for the ticket link, but there is a very high chance it will sell out quickly.

*Note: Apollonia's is a neighborhood joint, thus cozy. There will only be 24 TICKETS available. 

**Also note: One soda is covered with your ticket. Apollonia's does not have their liquor license, so this event will be BYOB. Feel free to bring some of your favorite beer, although sharing will be encouraged.
